The next time I can say ‘cheers to a new decade’ is 10 years from now.

So, I’ll say it today. Cheers to a new decade, and hello 2020.

Every end and start of a new year I get all sentimental, emotional and reflective. Sometimes I jot down specific goals, wishes and plans. Sometimes I decide on a ‘theme word’ to define the year, as suggested by Claire Diaz-Ortiz.
